Hello, my name is Harriet, I am an elementary reading teacher who is operating a family home daycare. I have two Masters degrees in Elementary Education and in Literacy, as well as a Bachelors degree in Psychology.  I am a mother of a nine year old son. I have been fortunate to be happily married for eleven years. We are located in Mastic, New York. We are New York State licensed and members of Child Care Council of Suffolk and the National Association of Family Child Care.

  I am a child care provider who believes that each child has a unique personality and can learn a lot through play and planned activities. I know how difficult it is to find a quality childcare setting that suits your child's needs. We decided to open a home daycare because we have been through the struggles of finding childcare for our own child. We found that there are many options but when it comes to finding someone that will treat your child well they are far and few in between. 

  Therefore, we want to open our home to your family because we believe all children need a positive environment that will help them grow to become independent human beings. The first years are very crucial in childhood development. We want to prepare your children for kindergarten, reinforce social skills and encourage healthy habits.
